Balance Updates have been made to Sherring!

Deductive Reasoning Allows for a public suggestion of the role another player may be playing in the match. If announced as Team Detective, the target has 25 added to their AP Limit. If announced as Team Spy, the target has their AP Limit reduced by 25.

True Conviction Raises your Current and Max AP to 200 until your next turn, but that next turn is canceled and all AP values then return to normal. As your next turn begins, you lose 40 from your AP Limit.

Starting with today's update, there is now a Ping function within every lobby!

Any player within the lobby can a new button at the top of the screen.

Using this button will post a Ping in the #match-directory.

There is a cooldown both on individual usage of this feature and per lobby. For example, 8 players in the same lobby cannot ping the lobby all at once.

Role Abilities for All Roles & Special Stats Gallery!

Next, the Supporter, Informant and Civilians will all be receiving Action Phase abilities during the next major update. Along with this, a preview of the Voiceover Add-On Pack will also be coming your way within the next month.

To commemorate ESPIONAGE: Year One, we have gathered play stats from the first year of matches and will be adding these to a special gallery within the game in an upcoming update. This gallery will remain in the game forever so check it out for some cool play data (and maybe see your username mentioned!)

A new mode is coming, and Playtest sign-ups are open NOW!

The TEAM ESPIONAGE playtest will begin on Sep 2, 2023, 10:25 PM. This time has already been converted to your timezone! This all-new mode has a completely revamped user interface, and in this mode, players will be paired into teams of two in which any roles can be together—including the Spy and Detective. Whether your teammate is really on your side will be for you to decide.
